Education is important because it creates the foundation for innovation and interaction on a social level. To solve the global problem, the United States needs to privatize education. When we once again become the leaders of the world in engineering, scientific theory, mathematics, literature, art, etc.....the rest of the world can use us as a model to improve themselves.

You are correct! From education comes knowledge, from knowledge comes better decision making, better decision making makes for fewer problems in the world. Yes, it is this simple.

Before we can *begin* to think about global education we need to do something drastic to improve education in our own country.

Start by donating your old books, there are various sites and non profit organizations that will accept books to various developing countries.
Another great campaign that you can start, book drive for travelers, for everyone who is traveling abroad, donate any book they can to their destination.
At least this could be a good start.

They are a third part of a third party and recruit for recruiters. AVOID. Try to contact the school directly or go through an organization locatd in your own country.

Recruiting companies based in China have the schools for their customers and often will say anything to get teachers. They have few financial incentives to be honest to the individuals they recruit, so be wary.

Also, be sure that your salary is not garnished by the recruiter and do research on the company at this free site: http://china.eslteachercafe.com
